A Couple of Cards

I used up some old scraps to create these two cards. The paper is so old that I have no idea where it came from much less the manufacturer. The first one was inspired by a card sketch by Di Hickman. I created it to give to my boss who recently received an award. BTW, the ribbon isn't purple IRL, it's pink. Crazy things happen when you scan. The second was just put together with scraps on my table. TFL!

Week 18

I put this LO together while spending the day with mom on Mother's Day. I was surprised that I had the mojo to get it done after spending the last week working on the calendar. I guess it was good to do something different. The paper and embellies all came from a Love, elsie collection that I found on the clearance rack at HL. Couldn't believe the deal I got. Anyway, TFL!

Mother's Day Calendar

My mom is always asking for more pictures of my DD, so this year I decided to create this calendar for mom using pics of my daughter. I used the Minutes album from Creative Memories and a mix of paper from all over the place but mostly creative memories. I love the way it turned out and think I should have made one for myself!!! TFL!!!

Play Ball

I got this layout done at the last minute...turned in at 10:40pm on the deadline day! I used the April Sketch from Paper Popsicles! It was an awesome sketch to work with. I also used a beading technique described in a 52 Sketches tutorial and stitching from the Paper Popsicles How-To Classes. I was itching to try these techniques and thought why not try them together. So here is the result! I used Bazzil cardstock, pp from Creative Memories, brads from Scrapabilities, random beads and embroidery floss....oh, and Glossy Accents! TFL!
