Three in One

I created this LO to fulfill the requirements of not one, not two, but three LO challenges! I know, I know, I'm good! LOL! First, the sketch is #34 from 52 Sketches. Second, the LO is about my scrappy place and I stamped on the paper covered chipboard scalloped circle for this weeks challenge at Stamp and Scrap. Third, I used only chipboard (and just a touch of bling) for the How Creative Can You Be challenge at Paper Popsicles. Whew! I really like the way it turned out even if my sewing machine did give me fits!!!! Thanks for looking!

Scrappy Sunday

Hi all! I've been busy scrappin away today. I bought this Back to School 8X8 Kit by Making Memories and used just about all of it to catch up on some challenges. The only supplies used other than what came in the kit are cardstock and ribbon I bought from the dollar bins at Target. Check it out!

This layout was created for sketch #33 at 52 Sketches.

I created this card for sketch Midnight Madness (MMSC15).

This card is for the MojoMonday week 99 sketch. It has a gift card holder on the front!

And, finally, I created this card using this weeks sketch at Let's Scrap!

Whew, that $5 8X8 kit sure went a long way. Thanks for looking!

Sketch Girl #3

I created this card for the Sketch Girl sketch #3. It is quoted as being a "simple sketch with lots of possiblities." This is definitely true. It could be created in so many different ways. I wanted to create something simple with this sentiment stamp I got as a freebie from Paper Makeup Stamps. I really like how it turned out! The paper is from Me & My Big Ideas and Creative Memories. Check out the Sketch Girl Blog....they have some fantastic blog candy to give away when they reach 100 followers!!!

How Creative Can YOU Be Challenge at Paper Popsicles

Okay, so Melissa really gave us an awesome challenge this month. First, she had us post 2-3 photos that we took recently that we wanted to scrap! She didn't tell us anything else. So, I posted these photos. Can you believe those blue eyes? I just had to get them scrapped!

Then, after several people had joined in the fun by posting their photos, she gave us step 2. Step 2 said that we had to create a layout using the following requirements:

yellow, blue and brown cardstock
3 buttons
4 different patterned papers
Journaling
The word blast in the title (using die cut, sticker or rub-on letters)
3 stickers

Needless to say....it was a challenge for sure. The brown cardstock and the word BLAST were really tripping me up. But I finially worked it out and this is what I came up with.

Supplies used:
Cardstock - Creative Memories, Bazzil
Patterned Paper - the Paper Studio
STickers - Thickers
Flowers - Prima
Ribbon - stash

I had sooo much fun with this challenge and I am so happy with this LO of my beautiful neice and her gorgeous blue eyes! Thanks Melissa!

Midnight Madness Week 13

This is my first time playing along with Midnight Madness. Here is my take on this weeks sketch. My squares are not perfect, but the card as a whole looks pretty good IMO. The cute puppy is Holden! He's from Stitchy Angel Designs. I am totally in love with this color combo ~ brown and baby blue. My best friend recently got remarried and all of her kitchen decorations are this color combo! So beautiful! Thanks for looking!
