Better Late Than Never - Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Week #23

ARGH! I created my card, got it turned in to the DT, set up my blog entry to post on Saturday...well at least I thought I had. I had saved the post but I guess I forgot to set the time to post! Saturday I spent a glorious day with my mother at a Prayer Retreat. Sunday was spent cleaning up around the house and getting laundry done. It wasn't until this morning that I realized that my post DID NOT POST! So, sorry about that.....here ya go!

Welcome to Week #23 at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle! We were so thrilled to see so many of you join us last week for our Celebration Challenge! It really makes our hearts smile to see your wonderful creations! We have another great challenge for you this week! Anything girly! For those of you with little girls this will be super easy and for those of you who only have boys it may be a little more challenging but oh, so fun!!! The DT got to use another SweetPea image for our creations and I just love these stamps! They are perfect for something girly! I decided to created a purse shaped card. I began by coloring my stamped image with copic markers and then going through my scraps to find the perfect DP for the image. The paper is all MME. I added some ribbon and flowers and ta-da....a perfectly girly card!

Come on over to check out what the other DT members created and get inspired! Don't you just love these SweetPea stamps? Create something girly, link it up and you may win a sheet of 4 rubber stamps!!!!

Happy New Year - Stamp Scrap & Doodle Week 21

We are back at it over at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle for our first challenge in 2010! This week we challenge you to use a photo on a card or other project. When I was working on this challenge, I just knew I wanted to use this cute little snowman picture that we took last year during one of maybe two snows of the season. Yep, we don't get a lot of snow down here in Alabama, but when we do, you know we get out and play in it. We rarely have enough snow to build a respectable snowman....and this was no exception! We built our snowman (if you want to call it that) on the back of the car! I used some MM paper for the background and added ribbons and snowflakes to the edge of my photo. I used this weeks Midnight Madness sketch from Precillastyles!

So come on over and play with us in 2010 at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle! We can't wait to see what you create!
