Happy Tuesday everyone! I am having so much fun creating Christmas cards to send to my friends and family this year. I wanted to do it last year, but...I ran out of time. This year I am definitely going to make it!!!
Here's a quick little card I put together using my Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls embossing folder. I colored the birds and berries with a red copic marker and then added Glossy Accents to make 'em shine. Then I used chalk to highlight the swirls in green. The sentiment is a Studio G stamp that I heat embossed. Pretty simple but I think it looks great!
This card is being entered in this week's challenges at the cuttlebug spot. The challenge is to create a holiday card using your favorite embossing technique.
I am also entering this card into this week's challenge at the Play Date Cafe. Here's this week's inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh what a clever idea! From the thumbnail it looked like DP, I love how you've coloured and embossed the little birds. Thanks for playing along in the cafe with us this week :)
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I especially love the way you've coloured the embossed areas, very effective! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe this week!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Rene and for your lovely comments. Stopped over to check out your blog and I just LOVE this card. The simplicity of it is fabulous but it is so striking with the red birds and sentiment. Great Christmas card. hugs xxoo
